Artie Adduci

Shortly after Artie and his wife Maggie married in 2014 they moved to South Windsor where Maggie was a life-long resident.  They have three children, three dogs, and three cats -- because it was easier to count or because they love animals is difficult to say.  With a bachelor's degree in accounting and his MBA from Southern New Hampshire University, Artie is currently pursuing his Masters in Translational Data Analytics at The Ohio State University.  A leader in the data sciences his uses his passion for data analysis to help those around him -- often with a spreadsheet in tow. 

Married to a teacher and with a long line of educational leaders in his family Artie has always felt education was a top priority and he has shown that during his tenure on the Board of Education since 2018. Having three children from 2nd through 11th grade helps keep his eye on the prize of ensuring student voices are heard. 

He has passionately supported the 10 - year initiative to build four brand new elementary schools in South Windsor.  He has also fought for teacher health plans, improved conditions for school support staff, and the responsible use of school resources. 

Looking forward, he believes Timothy Edwards Middle School and South Windsor High School are in vital need of upgrading to meet the standards of 21st century learning.  This includes a lighted athletic field which will open the window for a later high school start team and prevent our children from waiting at the bus stop at 6:20 AM.
