Phil Koboski
Incumbent Town Council Candidate
Phil Koboski has lived in South Windsor for over 20 years, moving here with his wife Brenda and sons, Theo and Eric, in 2001. He has worked in the insurance accounting industry for 37 years in both financial reporting and budgeting areas. He is currently employed as an Assistant Director with The Hartford Insurance Group.
Phil was a youth roller hockey coach, a Little League coach here in South Windsor, and was active as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader when his sons were younger. Both of his sons graduated from South Windsor High School after going through the school system. He is especially proud to have built sets for summer productions of the C.A.S.T. Children’s Theater in Manchester.
He has served on numerous boards and commissions in town over the last 18 years. These include the Zoning Board of Appeals, Agricultural Land Preservation Committee and the Public Building Commission, where he served as Chair during the building of Orchard Hill School. He has also served three terms on the Board of Education, sitting on two contract negotiating committees with the Teachers and one contract negotiating committee for the School Administrators. He is also a member of the South Windsor Historical Society.
In his spare time, Phil enjoys working on the historic house that he and his wife bought in 2016.
